My letter to the ICC and to Ban Ki - Moon

It is with great interest that we the people of Zimbabwe watch events as they unfold in North Africa and in particular Libya.
Gaddafi, a friend of Robert Mugabe who like his friend has well overstayed his welcome.
Your words against Gaddafi’s actions are very strong and as we can all agree, one dead innocent protester is one too many.
As the world is focused on the Middle East and talks heat up against action on Gaddafi, let us remember that we still have way too many Libya’s and far too many Gaddafi’s and your action and toughness needs to reach far and wide not just to oil rich nations.
In Zimbabwe for instance, despite the failed GNU (Government of Nation Unity) Robert Mugabe continues his war against the supporters of his opponents and uses brute force. His killings continue on a daily basis and always have since Gukuruhundi in the early eighties. Mugabe has mass graves with his name on especially around the Marange diamond fields where it has been clearly documented that these killings happened with helicopter gunships and were carried out by his army.
Mugabe has and continues to support Gaddafi with the sending of mercenaries and has also sent arms to help Gbagbo in Ivory Coast. Mugabe’s blood stained hands have reached far and wide.
The actions of Robert Mugabe also need worldwide rebuke and quick action as his regime has long lost its legitimacy and has long declared war on his innocent opposition.
Let us not fall short. Let us speak loud and act fast.
