Kablia's second term

Not strange that Mugabe was the only so called head of state to attend the ceremony for Kablia to start his second term.
Clear sign that his elections were not free and fair and that like Mugabe, he is another dictator in the making.
Funny how ten years after his fathers death he is still president.
Thanks to the real leaders of Africa for not attending.

Another one bites the dust

What a year 2011 has turned out to be. Yet another dictator no more. I am sure Kim Jong Il, Osama and Gadafi must be rotting in hell and wishing they had a chance to do it all again.
Well, Kim was a friend of Mugabe and i will never forget what the thugs he trained did to us. I was an 8 year old at the time and that horror lives with me constantly and I know that the survivors of Gukurahundi must be celebrating like me. Now we need Mugabe to follow and round off the year nicely for us.

Plot Exposed.

In pure Mugabe fashion, Morgan Tsvangirai’s office has issued a statement claiming they are aware of a plot to plant incriminating documents at his government and party offices, as a prelude to pressing criminal charges against him.The plot is said to involve the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) and two ZANU PF cabinet ministers and is also targeting other MDC-T officials. Tsvangirai’s spokesman, Luke Tamborinyoka, said the raid scheduled to take place in two weeks time would target the PM’s Charter House and Harvest House offices in Harare.Tamborinyoka said the discovered documents will be, “used not only to prosecute the Prime Minister and some members of his leadership, but also as an excuse to pull out of the inclusive government without implementing the necessary reforms needed for a free and fair election.”

Police disrupt MDC-T rallies

Police have forced the MDC-T to reschedule two of its party rallies in Masvingo, claiming ZANU PF had already booked the venues. The rallies in Zaka and Bikita were both disrupted by police, despite the MDC-T informing the authorities well before time. The party’s Masvingo provincial spokesperson, said the police’s claim that the venues were booked by ZANU PF is “baseless”.“We informed the police in time and they pretended as if everything was in order and they even told us that they were processing our application and we did not suspect anything,” said Mudzuri.

Assaukts still continue

In this the last day of November 2011, Mugabe still continues to order the beatings of the MDC, the people that are the legit ruling party in Zimbabwe.
Mugabe, the ICC may not get you but you will answer to God.

ICC - Act now

Gbagbo is arrested and sent to the ICC. Hooray. Long over due. Now what about Robert G Mugabe? His arrest warrent should long be signed and acted out.
What is the ICC waiting for??

Violence again from mugabe and his thugs

What started off as a cool Sunday turned bloody yesterday when
dozens of MDC activists were seriously injured at Chibuku Stadium in
Chitungwiza when suspected Zanu PF thugs descended on them.

Using catapults, iron bars, machetes and stones, the thugs stormed the venue
in the early hours of yesterday morning and attacked MDC activists who were
preparing for a rally which was due later in the day.

Some of the activists suffered broken bones, head and body injuries, while
some were bleeding heavily and were being treated at different hospitals in
Harare.

The first group of militias raided the stadium early in the morning
demanding to use the stadium for a soccer match but the MDC activists
reportedly told them the stadium had been booked for a rally.

Possible Assassination attempt on PM’s right hand man

A metal object was found in one of his tyres which was only two days old.
if his driver was driving fast this would have been a tragic accident and one with Mugabes writings on it.

GPA on verge of collapse

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC has dispatched an 11-page
dossier to facilitator President Jacob Zuma warning him that the inclusive
government is teetering on the verge of collapse.

He urged Sadc to urgently intervene to avert the situation from degenerating
into anarchy.

The dossier, seen by the Daily News, lists seven key issues the party warns
could be detrimental to the continuity of the inclusive government as well
as political and economic stability in Zimbabwe.

The dossier expresses the MDC’s frustration with unresolved disputes with
Mugabe and urges the Sadc facilitator to urgently remove obstacles in the
unity pact.

The damning report lists state-sponsored and sanctioned political violence,
the breakdown in the rule of law, closure of democratic space, the partisan
reporting in the public media, allegations that Zanu PF is running a
parallel government, non-implementation of the agreed issues and security
sector realignment.

“The political and security situation in Zimbabwe is deteriorating at an
alarming and scaring pace and the MDC calls on Sadc to intervene to ensure
the GPA does not collapse,” reads part of the dossier.

“It is now 32 months after the consummation of the inclusive government.
Despite the economic gains made thus far, the political situation still
remains precarious with the potential of degenerating into anarchy.”

Bitter rivals Tsvangirai and Mugabe formed a unity government in February
2009 to end a political and economic crisis, but have been feuding over
implementing the Sadc brokered pact.

The report says violence and intimidation are the biggest challenge to a
free political environment in Zimbabwe.

Since the formation of the inclusive government, the cycle of political
violence has not been broken and politically motivated, state sponsored and
sanctioned violence has not abated contrary to the provisions of the GPA.

The report says a self-styled Zanu PF militia group known as “Chipangano” is
at the behest of many atrocities of violence against MDC supporters in
Harare.

The report claims the police are at the centre of the breakdown of the rule
of law in direct contravention of Article XI of the GPA, an assertion denied
by police spokesman Oliver Mandipaka yesterday.

The report says Zanu PF has disrupted the Parliamentary process of public
hearings into the Electoral Amendment Bill and the Human Rights Commission
Bill, the first body tasked with investigating rights abuses.

“The hearings have been marred with violence at the instigation of Zanu PF
members,” the report says. Zanu PF supporters disrupted the Parliamentary
hearings on the Electoral Bill on October 17 in Marondera, on October 18 in
Mutasa, on October 19 in Masvingo, on October 20 in Gweru and on October 21
in Bulawayo. The report warns Zuma that the democratic space in Zimbabwe
continues to shrink.

Police have proscribed MDC rallies and political activities, says the
report.

“Recently, the Prime Minister toured some parts of the country to assess the
levels of poverty as well as the state of development as well as the needs
of the people ahead of the budget, but was prevented from venturing into
some parts of Mashonaland by Zanu PF.

“In Marondera, Mudzi and Murehwa, the Prime Minister failed to tour clinics,
market stalls and business projects in these areas amid threats of violence
and physical harm targeting the Prime Minister and members of his
delegation,” says the report.

Tsvangirai also says the veteran ruler is undermining the agreement through
the arrest of several MDC lawmakers.

The report says since January 2011, more than 600 MDC officials, members and
activists have been arrested on clearly political cases.

The dossier also points to looting of state resources.

“This is manifested in the generation and expenditure of state resources
outside government treasury rules and regulations,” the report says.

“Of note is the continued sale of State resources such as diamonds without
the knowledge of the Treasury. There have over five diamond auctions to date
and only two have been accounted for by the Treasury. The resources accrued
are not known and have been used to facilitate the operations of this
parallel government.

“Clearly, this remains why some elements in government have refused the call
for transparency and nationalisation of diamonds in Chiadzwa. It is also
possible that these diamond resources are now being used to perpetrate
violence against civilians in Zimbabwe. This is also very plausible as
security forces remain active in the extraction and selling of diamonds in
Chiadzwa.”

The document also says the running of the parallel government has also been
capitalised by the non-remittance of police spot fines, toll-gate fees,
vendor fines and small-scale business fines.

“The intransigence of the police and other security agencies against the MDC
shows that the parallel government is fully operational. Tsvangirai’s MDC
accuses Mugabe’s Zanu PF of failing to honour an agreement to implement 24
issues agreed by the negotiators."

The negotiators of the GPA presented their final report to the Zimbabwe GNU
principals and to Zuma on April 6, 2010.

The GPA principals then met on the 8th of June 2010 and agreed on 24 issues
out of the 29 presented by the negotiators.

“The sad reality is that of the 24 issues agreed, none has been implemented
to date,” says the report. (see table).

Zanu PF has, in turn, charged that the MDC has not fulfilled its pledge to
condemn sanctions imposed by Western governments on Mugabe and his inner
circle.

The report says state security agents were now at the epicentre of the
perpetration of violence, intimidation and the selective application of the
law.

Bob get the picture

As I see Robert Mugabes friend lying on a matress looking worse than a rat with millions of us celebrating, i hope mugabe gets the picture because we too will more than party when it is his time and how we hope it is soon.
Africa and the world are sick and tired of these useless dictators who are all just a bunch of cowards. Bob, your day is comming soon and very soon and I promise.

Rats can be deadly

Not long ago Gadafi, Mugabes best friend called the opposition rats. Today the same socalled rats not only extinguished him after pulling him out of a rats hole, but they run the country he thought was his.
I hope instead of looking to Gadafi as a hero, Bob and his thugs will look at the events of 10/20/2011 in Libya and say "it's to change for the better"

We are sick and tired of dicators. This world has no place for them. Today Gadafi is having tea with Satan where he should be and as God has answered the prayers of the Libyans, ours too will be answered.

The Bishop tell it like it is

The Archbishop of Canterbury issued a stinging attack on Robert Mugabe
yesterday, telling Zimbabweans they deserved better than to live under his
reign of terror and violence.

Aides described Dr Rowan Williams as giving the “sermon of his career”
during his controversial visit to Zimbabwe.

He told a congregation of more than 15 000 Anglicans that the tyrant’s
“lawless” regime was no better than the colonial misrule it had replaced.

Addressing a cheering crowd in a sports hall less than a mile from the
headquarters of the country’s ruling Zanu-PF party, Dr Williams said the
country’s natural wealth had been squandered and that the population lives
in “daily fear of attack”.

Women beaten for a peacefull march

A march by pressure group Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) was on Wednesday
violently crushed by riot police officers, leaving many people injured and
12 members arrested.

The march had been organised to commemorate the annual International Day of
Peace, and saw four groups of WOZA members converge on the Mhlahlandlela
government complex on Wednesday morning. The groups handed out leaflets and
flowers to passersby, singing songs and talking about national healing.

But this peaceful action was soon brought to a sudden stop when scores of
riot police started rounding up the WOZA members, saying they did not have
permission to march.

A witness said on Wednesday that about 50 riot police were deployed to break up the gathering. He explained that people started running away because the police were beating everyone with batons. He described how he too had to flee the scene because the police spotted him trying to take photographs. He also described seeing a photographer lying on the ground and bleeding heavily.

Mugabe has Cancer

Thanks to Wikileaks we the people of Zimbabwe now know for sure that Mugabe is sick and will be gone soon hopefully.
Due to his actions since the early 80's and most recently starting in the mid 90's, we knew this old cow was sick but always thought it was mental or demond driven.
Now on top of his sickhead he has cancer. May he rot in hell some time soon

Police watch as MDC members are beaten up

Members of Zimbabwe’s notorious police, as well as other ZANU PF
loyal members of the security forces, looked on while the party thugs
threatened, harassed and attacked anyone perceived to be an MDC-T supporter.
MDC-T official Vincent Chifodya had to seek medical treatment having been
beaten over the head, while a cameraman Henry Chimbiri was also beaten.

Mugabes beating even at the opening of parliament

As Mugabe was getting out of his vehicle, crowds of his ZANU-PF supporters, some dressed in party regalia, were throwing stones and beating up some members of the public walking through the central park, called Africa Unity Square. This is a park i know all to well from 1998 beatings that i got.

A few streets west of parliament, the Movement for Democratic Change party, which is in a difficult 30-month-old inclusive government with ZANU-PF, decided to close the steel entrance gates to its headquarters to protect party officials inside.

A member of the security team protecting the party leadership, who spoke on condition of anonymity, was in the city center monitoring the violence.

"What I saw there it was actually terrible, people were being harassed in the park, Africa Unity Square by ZANU-PF people,” he said.

He said the violence continued against civilians as Mugabe and his wife Grace arrived outside parliament.

“They were singing party songs and slogans and if you failed to answer the slogan then they will start beating you, even stones they were throwing, everything,” he said.

Since the unity government came to power in 2009, several months after disputed and violence-plagued elections, MDC officials, legislators and party supporters have suffered from recurring attacks and arrests, usually at the hands of state security forces.

Despite protests to Mugabe and police chiefs, the violence continues, although at a lower level than after the 2008 elections won by the MDC.

Mugabe way out of touch with reality

It only takes a fool or stupidity to fail to recognize that Libya will never have a Gaddafi and that the dictator and his demonic regime are no more so when Mugabe and Zuma fail to recognize the voice of the people of Libya, it makes we wonder just how true Zuma is in trying to get Zimbabwe to a supposedly free and fair election. This is outright madness.
Let the flags of a new Libya fly and let them fly as freely as the people of Libya.

Come on Zimbabweans - Let's do it

I cannot help but applaud the courage of the “rebels” in Libya. A people just like Zimbabwean’s who for years (40) were oppressed while a select few lived a lavished life style. The beatings, the torture the iron first rule of Gaddafi.
The only difference was they said enough was enough and did something and well, they had NATO behind them. I know with no oil in Zimbabwe NATO will not be behind us just look at the Congo. So yes we know that we face the possibility of an outright slaughter as is fresh in our minds regarding the 80’s where we lots mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, brothers sisters and children but never the less, we need change and we need change now.
We cannot continue to live under the yolk of oppression and let these dictators get away with murder.
So Zimbabweans, let’s come together through prayer and fasting and ask God to intervene. We need God to send down an army of heavenly angels to sweep across Zimbabwe and to deal with Mugabe and ZAUN PF as they have deal with us and that HIS judgment may be upon them ever so serve.
Join me in a steadfast pray and let’s turn to God who will fight our battles.

WHO IS NEXT

Now that the iron hand of Gaddafi has melted, who is next?

I applaud the people of Libya and thank God for their victory and for the justice that will be served to Gaddafi and his family. These African leaders must know that they not above the law and that we are not their property to be treated like animals.

My pray is that next it will be us the people of Zimbabwe that will be celebrating freedom.

Mugabe and Zanu PF must go.

Who killed Mujuru

I was never a fan of Mujuru's and so much wanted to see him brought to justice for his crimes. I guess the farm he stole ended up stealing his life. I know the Zimbabwean political system and know he was killed but by who and for what?

More blood on Mugabe's hands?

When will world leaders stand up to Mugabe

It sadens me. It brings me to tears that world leaders still talk the talk with Mugabe in stead of taking action. How many more zimbabweans have to die before someone steps in.
Mugabe has to be stopped.

The Movement for Democratic Change formation of Zimbabwean Industry Minister
Welshman Ncube said Wednesday that its director of elections in Midlands
province, abducted on Friday in Zhombe district, was found murdered on
Tuesday with the body half buried in a shallow grave and his head covered
with a sack.

The MDC said Maxwell Ncube was abducted late on Friday on his way home from
a nearby shopping center in Malamulela village in Zhombe. His wife said she
raised the alarm immediately after his abduction, but a follow-up by
villagers with the assistance of the police did not yield anything until the
discovery of his body.

ZANU PF thugs pour hot oil on MDCT youth activist

Violent attacks on officials of the MDC-T continued on Wednesday, when ZANU
PF thugs in Mbare poured hot oil in the face of a youth organiser from the
Southerton Constituency.

According to the MDC-T, the Youth Assembly chairperson for Ward 11, Ayaya
Kassim, was visiting other activists in order to organise meetings.
ZANU PF thugs followed him when they realised who he was.

Gift Chimanikire, the MP for Southerton and deputy Mines Minister, told SW
Radio Africa that a group of ten entered the house Kassim was visiting and
kicked in the bedroom door where he had gone to hide.

The activist tried to escape but the ZANU PF thugs grabbed hot cooking oil
from the food cooking business at the house and threw it in his face.

“Kassim jumped over a Dura wall and ran for his life. They caught up and
assaulted him with knobkerries and kicked him,” Chimanikire said.

The MDC-T youth was saved by a brave resident nearby, who let him come
inside for protection. At this point the ZANU PF thugs retreated, singing
revolutionary songs and chanting.

“Kassim suffered serious burns to his face which can only be described as
attempted murder,” MP Chimanikire explained, adding that these attacks on
their members are “organised and financed by aspiring ZANU PF candidates.”
One of them is reportedly a politburo member.

Despite the identity of some of the perpetrators being known, no arrests
have been made by the police and the culture of impunity for ZANU PF
supporters continues.

Mugabe unleashes violence

Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF supporters stormed Parliament in
Harare yesterday, beating MPs and journalists while women traders were
rounded up in Mbare and forced to attend their party meeting, as the
political situation in the country deterioratesfurther.

The Zanu PF mob caused mayhem inside parliament, forcing the cancellation of
business.

The violent scenes at parliament and in Mbare are the latest in a string of
violent events that have spread as far as Mutare, Chinhoyi and Masvingo,
where Zanu PF supporters forced parliamentary committees from carrying out
public hearings on human rights issues.

Human rights groups, churches and political parties have also reported a
spike in cases of politically motivated violence by Zanu PF and state
security agents since Mugabe started hyping talk of imminent elections.

Like it is - Mugabes solider to be tells some

“We were subsequently issued with bus and train warrants enabling us to
access transport on government expense.

The March election was generally peaceful and we cast our vote without
incident. Contrary to instructions given by the army that we vote Mugabe and
Zanu (PF), I cast my vote otherwise, as the wind of change was blowing too
strong to resist.

“As warned, on returning to the barracks we were subjected to a thorough
finger - tip inspection to fish out culprits who would not have participated
in the election.

Those with suspicious and doubtful ink marks were given thorough beatings.

“When the Presidential poll results took long to be announced, anxiety
started mounting among residents in and around Harare suburbs. One evening,
despite having not received military training, we were issued with military
uniform and baton sticks before being deployed to beat up people roaming
about suburbs such as Budiriro, Mabvuku, Glenview and others.

“We were operating in groups of eight under strict instruction to beat the
hell out of anything on two legs moving about in the night. Innocent
civilians on their day to day activities were caught in the cross-fire.
“Beating up civilians suspected to be MDC intensified with the creation of
torture bases across the country by Zanu (PF). The evil exercise became
routine until after the discredited Presidential election re-run.

“At army camps, especially commando barracks, we witnessed suspected MDC
activists brought to the camp for ‘political orientation lessons’ in the
form of severe beatings.

Biti forced to flee

In yet another sign that President Robert Mugabe’s supporters are
resorting to violence to maintain a grip on power, Finance Minister Tendai
Biti fled his Harare offices yesterday after Zanu PF militants stormed the
premises demanding his resignation.

The raid on Biti’s offices, coming days after the arrest of a top aide to
Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and “subversive” statements by an army
general, has worsened fears that Zimbabwe is back to the anarchy of 2008
when more than 200 MDC supporters were murdered in cold blood after
Tsvangirai defeated Mugabe in contested presidential elections.

Mugabe is shameless

President Robert Mugabe and his ruling cronies have been documented carrying
out torture, murder and mayhem. Yet the police, army and CIO baldly deny the
proof and carry on with their abuses.

Blatant vote rigging has been proved in Zimbabwe's courts, as far back as
Margaret Dongo's case, but Mugabe just keeps holding fraudulent elections
that are marked by violence, intimidation and ballot stuffing.

It is a well known fact that the roll of Zimbabwe's registered voters is
riddled with dead voters, ghost voters, double entries and just about any
kind of false entry that can be imagined. A partial audit in 2003 showed
that 25 percent of the voters listed on the roll in one constituency were
non-existent.

With a voters' roll so full of errors, vote rigging is easy. Especially for
a regime that has its military control the voting and counting process.

The latest exposure was provided by the respected South African Institute
for Race Relations which found that the voters' roll includes an impossible
number of people over 100 years old. More than 40,000 centenarians, 16,800
of them born on Jan. 1, 1901. This in the country that has one of the
world's lowest average life expectancies at 37 years

Condolences to the Hove family.

Our thoughts and prays are with you all during this sad and untimely passing of a true Zimbabwean hero.
As he fought for a free Zimbabwe, we will continue the fight for him.

Finally justice for Tunisans. May be Zimbabwe next

A Tunisian court has sentenced ousted Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali and his wife Leila to 35 years in prison for theft and other charges.

I am happy for the people of Tunisa that their ex head of state who was a thug just like Robert Mugabe will now rot in a cell.

I hope and pray that Zimbabweans will soon celebrate too when the Devil Robert Mugabe is brought to justice

Badly beaten and tortured

Five men who sought to set up a political party to oppose President Mugabe
have finally been released from jail after serving four years without trial
on charges of treason.

Of their four years and a day in custody, two years were spent in solitary
confinement. All five men were badly beaten and tortured while imprisoned.

The five — mostly educated businessmen — were acquitted and then re-indicted
on the same charges, then acquitted of a false charge of an attempted
jailbreak before they were released.

A sixth member of the group remains in solitary confinement in Chikurubi
prison, outside Harare, on charges of plotting to escape. He denies the
charge

Zuma scared that Zimbabwe will be the next Libya

South African President Jacob Zuma is concerned about the resurgent
violence in the country, more so now that there is an element of public
involvement, a sure spark to public revolts similar to those in North Africa
and the Arab world.

Zuma and Sadc recently warned that the situation in Zimbabwe might
degenerate into chaos similar to events in Egypt, Tunisia and now Libya.

South Africa will this week host a Sadc extra-ordinary summit at which the
Zimbabwe crisis will be discussed.

Attempt on Biti's Life

An explosive device hit the security wall of Zimbabwe
finance minister Tendai Biti's home in an attempted bombing early Sunday The explosion was loud and caused some discomfort among residents in the neighbourhood. The incident at Biti's home in the Grange suburb came a week after police
detained 12 MDC supporters accused of killing a police officer.

ICC and Gaddaffi.

So finally the ICC has issued a warrant for Gaddaffi and I applaud them for that. What about the warrant for Robert Mugabe and his thugs which I and many others have long requested and campaigned for? Mugabe has and still continues to kill Zimbabwean citizens and has done far worse than Gaddafi. Is it because Zimbabwe has no oil. How can we as people stand by and wait decades for these dictators to get arrested when thousands have been killed. Is life not more important than profit?

R.I.P to a Zimbabwean Hero

Long before the uprising in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and the Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe’s own Mr. Mike Campbell took on the biggest and badest thug of them all. He took on Robert Mugabe.
The late great Mr. Campbell was a commercial farmer who made legal history when he took President Mugabe to the international court of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Tribunal in 2007 and won the case a year later.

Mr. Campbell sadly passed away at his temporary home in Harare on April 6.He never recovered from the abduction and brutal beatings meted out to him, his wife Angela and son-in-law Ben Freeth by Zanu-PF thugs late at night in a remote militia camp on June 29, 2008 just two days after the Presidential run-off election.

Our thoughts and prays are the Campbell family and our hope is that his battle was not in vein.

Beatings and more beating for MDC

Opposition activists in Zimbabwe have said that they
were forced out of their homes and beaten for refusing to support President
Robert Mugabe, claiming that the attacks are 'state sponsored,' as the
police arrested those who complained, instead of helping them. Their claims come amid growing international concern about renewed political
violence in Zimbabwe.Barnabas, an activist speaking from a 'safe house' in
Harare, said: " They broke my arm and started hitting me along my spine with
a metal stake."

Shingai, another opposition activist said: " They came with petrol to my
house and threatened to burn me along with my family, but instead they just
beat me until I was unconscious."

Appeal against Bennett thrown out

Zimbabwe's Supreme Court on Thursday threw out an appeal against the
acquittal of Roy Bennett in an alleged plot to overthrow President Robert
Mugabe, his lawyer said on Thursday.

“The judgment was delivered by the Supreme Court today and the ruling said
the application against the acquittal of Roy Bennett had no chances of
success,” attorney Beatrice Mtetwa told AFP.

Bennett, a top aide to Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, was acquitted in
May last year after a high court judge ruled the state had failed to connect
him to a plot against Mugabe.

Prosecutors filed an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the acquittal.

Bennett's case is one of the major stumbling blocks facing the unity
government between Mugabe and Tsvangirai, who had tapped him as deputy
agriculture minister in the unity government.

Mugabe has vowed he will never swear in Bennett.

The white 53-year-old former farmer was arrested in February 2009, shortly
before he was to be sworn in, over accusations that he had funded a plot to
topple Mugabe five years ago. -

Zimbabwe PM calls for 'divorce' with Mugabe

"We have reached a moment where we are saying, let's agree that this is not
working, it's dysfunctional," Mr Tsvangirai told a news conference at his
party's headquarters after the detention of one of his ministerial allies.

"Let's make arrangements to go for elections under a road map designed by
SADC (Southern African Development Community) so that we have a clear,
legitimate government."

"Even those with legendary patience, like some of us, have reached a stage
where we are saying enough is enough. There is obviously a breakdown in the
relationship between the parties," Mr Tsvangirai said.

"If people find that a marriage has reached irreconcilable differences, then
agree to a divorce."

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai says the arrest of Energy and
Power Development Minister Elton Mangoma who has been charged with criminal
abuse of office might force the MDC to pull out of the inclusive government.

My letter to the ICC and to Ban Ki - Moon

It is with great interest that we the people of Zimbabwe watch events as they unfold in North Africa and in particular Libya.
Gaddafi, a friend of Robert Mugabe who like his friend has well overstayed his welcome.
Your words against Gaddafi’s actions are very strong and as we can all agree, one dead innocent protester is one too many.
As the world is focused on the Middle East and talks heat up against action on Gaddafi, let us remember that we still have way too many Libya’s and far too many Gaddafi’s and your action and toughness needs to reach far and wide not just to oil rich nations.
In Zimbabwe for instance, despite the failed GNU (Government of Nation Unity) Robert Mugabe continues his war against the supporters of his opponents and uses brute force. His killings continue on a daily basis and always have since Gukuruhundi in the early eighties. Mugabe has mass graves with his name on especially around the Marange diamond fields where it has been clearly documented that these killings happened with helicopter gunships and were carried out by his army.
Mugabe has and continues to support Gaddafi with the sending of mercenaries and has also sent arms to help Gbagbo in Ivory Coast. Mugabe’s blood stained hands have reached far and wide.
The actions of Robert Mugabe also need worldwide rebuke and quick action as his regime has long lost its legitimacy and has long declared war on his innocent opposition.
Let us not fall short. Let us speak loud and act fast.

Police Cancel MDC-T Meetings

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai,s party, MDC-T on
Saturday accused police of blocking its meetings in Bulawayo, Mashonaland
West and East provinces claiming that the political situation in the country
was too volatile.

But the law does not seem to apply to Zanu (PF) which on Wednesday was
allowed to hold a rally attended by more than 20 000 people at the Glamis
Arena in Harare.
Police also barred meetings of the MDC faction led by Welshman Ncube
scheduled for Bulawayo and Chitungwiza claiming that they did not have
adequate manpower.MDC has threatened to go ahead with the rallies with or
without police clearance.

Munyaradzi Shoko, 27, the son to Chitungwiza South
MP, Hon. Misheck Shoko was last night assaulted by six men some in army
uniform in Unit G, Chitungwiza. A medical report, found Munyaradzi to be
suffering from multiple head bruises, a “left eye haemorrhage, and swollen
forehead”.
The six who were driving a white pick up truck descended at Hon. Shoko’s
house around midnight. They asked Munyaradzi who is a university student
why he had not attended the Zanu PF restrictive measures event held in
Harare yesterday. Munyaradzi received treatment at Chitungwiza General
Hospital and made a report at Makoni Police Station. The police confirmed
that there were soldiers based at the police station but it was irregular
for them not to move in the suburb without a uniformed police office

MDC MP Harassed Over "Million March"

The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T)
legislator for Bulawayo Central Dorcas Sibanda was on Tuesday arrested on
allegations of organising a meeting to support an anti-government million
march.

Since last week online campaigns had been circulated by email and on the
social networking website Facebook, calling on Zimbabweans to take part in a
‘Million Citizens March’ on Tuesday. The aim of the protest was to call for
Robert Mugabe to step down from power, just like similar civil uprisings in
Tunisia, Egypt and Libya.

Hundreds flee violence in Nyanga North & cross into Mozambique

Hundreds of villagers from Nyakomba in Nyanga North are fleeing violence
orchestrated by ZANU PF, and on Wednesday crossed the border into
Mozambique.

The MDC spokesman for Manicaland province, Pishai Muchauraya, said those
that crossed the flooded Gairezi river, which forms the border between
Zimbabwe and Mozambique, are now living with local communities on the
Mozambican side of the frontier.

Torture continues

"Whenever I gave an answer that was not satisfactory, I was told to lie on
my stomach and I was given lashes,” Gwisai said. “ (It was)indescribable
pain. It is sadistic.”

He said his torturers tried to beat him into admitting that he had said
“Abasha Mugabe”, which is Portuguese for “down with Mugabe” and that he must
go.

Gwisai alleged that he was lashed 15 times and was finding it difficult to
sit and walk.

He told the court that even though Mugabe was an elected president, people
could still revolt against him.

“This is the reason why people went to war and died to ensure that people
govern.”

Among the people arrested on Saturday were HIV and Aids activists, some of
who are living positively with the disease

Activists Charged with High Treason

My thoughts and prays go out to the activists who were charged with High Treason.

Thanks for taking the step that millions of Zimbabweans need to take but are too afraid.

We will do what ever we can to see to it that these charges are dropped and that you are free.

Stay strong.

Bob turns 87

Born in 1924, Zimbabwe’s once celebrated leader who turned tyrant by his own choice is now 87.
This year unlike others he will not get a birthday card from me. I will not waste my money on him after all he never gets the message which is "Get out of office. We do not want you"
Mugabe continues his killings, his rape, and his theft of Zimbabwe’s riches and continues with policies that are inhumane.

The Hague is where he needs to spend the rest of his life together with his cronies.

Mugabe & Mubarak must be twins

Listening to Mubaraks speach today was more than a slap in the face to the people of Egypt and to Africa as a whole.

He so much reminded me of Robert Mugabe. Both in their eights, both have well overstayed their welcome, both only care of them themselves. Have both ripped apart a great nation for self interest and both have innocent blood on their hands.

What a shame, oh what a shame.

Violence on the rise

As expected following Mugabe’s call for elections in 2011, the violence
perpetrated by hired Zanu (PF) hoodlums has escalated in the past three
weeks. This is not at all a result of political protest by Mugabe’s personal
party. Rather, this is well-orchestrated destabilization of the GNU by hired
hands that are paid a pittance of$5 per day for their trouble.
The Zanu (PF) officials who are actively denying that they are the ones
organizing these brainless hoodlums will not be able to fool us. We are
aware that Mugabe and his supporters would like the GNU to fold up on or
about February 15 and that the elections be held three months later. That
way the police, the army, the militia and the CIO will be able to violently
force the people of this country to vote for Mugabe and Zanu (PF).

Forced to pay for Bobs birthday party

People are been forced to contibute $10 for Mugabes birthday party and those who donot are told they will face unspecified action.

Mugabe taking terror to schools

ZANU PF youths have taken their terror further by
informing headmasters in Harare that they must leave at least two days a
week for lessons about the liberation struggle, "We have been asked to teach for three days and the other two days we must teach children about Zanu PF and the liberation war," a headmaster said.

ZRP - No Egypt demonstrations in Zimbabwe

Confidential documents leaked to the press by human rights groups allege
that ZANU-PF militants currently wreaking havoc around the country were
trained at the Inkomo Army Barracks west of the capital beginning last
Novembe

A senior official of the Zimbabwe Republic Police has threatened to crush
any Egyptian-style protests by the Movement for Democratic Change formation
led by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, further stressing the power-sharing
government.

Senior Assistant Commissioner Clement Munoriyarwa, in charge of the province
of Harare, told the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation that Egyptian-style
mass protests would not be tolerated.

"This is wishful thinking," he said. "The situation in Egypt will never be
tolerated anywhere in Zimbabwe..We want to assure the nation that we are
fully prepared for such violent activities and our officers are already on
the ground to ensure peace and tranquility prevails in the country."

The beatings still continue

Five MDC activists were badly injured after they were assaulted by Zanu PF thugs in Mbare at Carter house this afternoon. The five: Patrick Mufuka (34), Charles Magurira (38), Edson Muneka (31), Godfrey Mutowo (38) and Francis Kadigo had to seek medical attention at a Harare hospital. According to the five, Zanu PF youths, abusing young boys of between 14 and 17 years, moved around the Mbare fresh fruit produce market uprooting known MDC activist and leading them to Carter House were they were assaulted.

Meanwhile, most market stalls went up in flames at the popular fresh fruit produce market in Mbare following a violent attack by the Zanu PF youth.

Zanu PF has been bussing in youth from surrounding provinces into Harare where they have launched an operation ngatizivane. They have mostly targeted Mbare, Chitungwiza and Budiriro. The MDC has condemned these actions as barbaric and unproductive to an ailing nation which sought real change.

Violence continues

Elvis Marume, 42, a teacher at a faith-based school in
Zimbabwe’s Mashonaland West Province, has been threatened with death by
alleged elements of the ruling ZANU-PF party's youth militia in response to
rumours that he had spoken disparagingly about the country’s land reform
policy.

"I was sleeping with my family when a gang of about eight youths, whom I
know as they reside in a nearby village, knocked on the front door and
demanded to see me. Not suspecting anything, I opened the door for them and
one of them violently pulled me outside,” he told IRIN.

"They showed me what looked like a gun and told me that they were going to
kill me because they had received reports that I was teaching my students
that the land reform programme was bad because it had created food shortages
in the country."

Marume has since applied for a transfer to the capital, Harare, hoping for
safety, but there has been an upsurge of political violence in many parts of
the country, including Harare, ahead of possible national elections.

AU - What a joke

The AU wants Robert Mugabe to help with the Ivory Coast stalemate. Come on, what help can Bob be?
This is a slap in the face to all in Ivory Coast and the region.
Mugabe is not a man that has a heart.
The AU is toothless

CIO brutally assaulted MDC activist

Fourty-three year old Julius Mutavira Gono is reported to have been severely
beaten in broad daylight by three CIO agents following a botched attempt to
abduct him. The incident took place on Christmas Eve while his family and
neighbours watched helplessly.

The Restoration of Human Rights in Zimbabwe (ROHR) group said “he was
assaulted by three armed state security agents who drove to his house in
Madzimure Village in a Nissan twin cab with unmarked plates.” The case has
been reported to Chikombedzi Police Station but no action is expected.
