A Tunisian court has sentenced ousted Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali and his wife Leila to 35 years in prison for theft and other charges.
I am happy for the people of Tunisa that their ex head of state who was a thug just like Robert Mugabe will now rot in a cell.
I hope and pray that Zimbabweans will soon celebrate too when the Devil Robert Mugabe is brought to justice

Badly beaten and tortured
Five men who sought to set up a political party to oppose President Mugabe
have finally been released from jail after serving four years without trial
on charges of treason.
Of their four years and a day in custody, two years were spent in solitary
confinement. All five men were badly beaten and tortured while imprisoned.
The five — mostly educated businessmen — were acquitted and then re-indicted
on the same charges, then acquitted of a false charge of an attempted
jailbreak before they were released.
A sixth member of the group remains in solitary confinement in Chikurubi
prison, outside Harare, on charges of plotting to escape. He denies the
charge

involvement, a sure spark to public revolts similar to those in North Africa
and the Arab world.

ICC and Gaddaffi.
So finally the ICC has issued a warrant for Gaddaffi and I applaud them for that. What about the warrant for Robert Mugabe and his thugs which I and many others have long requested and campaigned for? Mugabe has and still continues to kill Zimbabwean citizens and has done far worse than Gaddafi. Is it because Zimbabwe has no oil. How can we as people stand by and wait decades for these dictators to get arrested when thousands have been killed. Is life not more important than profit?

R.I.P to a Zimbabwean Hero
Long before the uprising in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and the Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe’s own Mr. Mike Campbell took on the biggest and badest thug of them all. He took on Robert Mugabe.
The late great Mr. Campbell was a commercial farmer who made legal history when he took President Mugabe to the international court of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Tribunal in 2007 and won the case a year later.
Mr. Campbell sadly passed away at his temporary home in Harare on April 6.He never recovered from the abduction and brutal beatings meted out to him, his wife Angela and son-in-law Ben Freeth by Zanu-PF thugs late at night in a remote militia camp on June 29, 2008 just two days after the Presidential run-off election.
Our thoughts and prays are the Campbell family and our hope is that his battle was not in vein.
