Happy New Year

As we say good bye and so long to 2012, I thank you all for your continued prays, and support.
2012 has been a rough and tough year but a great one too. The people of Egypt, Syria, Zimbabwe, North Korea and many other countries; Better days are ahead.
Democracy will always win over evil and Dictators will fall. 2013 will be a great year for freedom and democracy and it will be the year of the fall of the last few dictators who are standing.
I have and will continue to work hard to make sure that whatever I can do to see to it that I can make a positive difference will be done and will not stop.
To my fellow Zimbabweans, do not give up nor give in. Robert Mugabe and his ZANU PF are going to be history. We must push on.
Have a Happy New Year

Mugabe’s call for peace insincere

The burning of two houses belonging to David Chihwai Chamanga, the MDC organising secretary ward 17 in Mutoko confirms our concern over Mugabe and Zanu PF’s calls for peace in public fora whilst at night arming and unleashing bands of Zanu PF militia groups to commit acts of violence against perceived opponents.

What is more worrying is police inaction in dealing with this case of arson given that their mandate is to protect property and citizens from perpetrators of such heinous crimes. The failure by police to act is a clear indication of complicity in the whole crime which vindicates our worry about the presence of state sponsored violence in Zimbabwe and as such we reiterate our call for the security sector reforms.

More disturbing is the fact that this incident comes hot on the heels of a series of well calculated attacks by state and non state agencies against those prodemocracy organisations and activists. Of note is the recent raiding of the Counselling Service Unit, arrests of MDC leadership like Elton Mangoma, arrests of independent journalists, deployment of military personnel in Masvingo and Manicaland who are intimidating people to vote in favour of Zanu PF in the next coming referendum and plebiscite in 2013.

Zanu (PF) threatens coup, again

In an interview with The Zimbabwean, Gumbo said that the war veterans and collaborators, most of whom are Zanu (PF) sympathizers, were likely to block Tsvangirai’s ascendancy to power in the event of an MDC-T victory in the next elections. Gumbo’s sentiments confirm long held fears among Zimbabweans
that a smooth transition of power in Zimbabwe was uncertain.“We have people who fought for the country, the war veterans, and you think they would just smile. What about the land that we acquired? We want to keep the farms. Honestly, the situation will be messy if MDC is to win in the upcoming elections. It will be chaotic I tell you. This is a very serious issue,” he said.Gumbo’s remarks come barely a month after he publicly declared the possibility of a coup if Tsvangirai was to win, saying the military would not accept him. “We will be asking for too much from our guys (the military) to accept these people who we all know fought against them and were responsible for the deaths of many comrades,” he told e-News Channel Africa.
A week earlier, the Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Patrick Chinamasa, also told the BBC that Zanu (PF) and the military would not accept a “foreign-sponsored” victory for Tsvangirai. “Young people participated in the liberation struggle to gain control over our resources. Many friends died and are buried in unmarked graves. Now if anyone is going to say: ‘When I come into power I am going to reverse that,’ they (the military) have every right to say: ‘Please - you are asking for trouble. You will be asking for trouble,” he said.

Congratulations President Obama

Congratulations to President Obama on a hard fought and rightly won campaign.

Congratulations to the American citizens who showed their differences in respectful, mindful and with non violence and hatred.

Congratulations to Mr. Romney who too fought a great brave fight and showed such class and dignity in defeat.

A great true and democratic election and a great example set yet again to the rest of the world.

I hope Robert Mugabe, Castro, Chavez, Bashar Al Assard and many other dictators could only watch learn and respect the voice which is the vote of the people.

America, you are a true inspiration and a shining example to the world.

MDC-T Treasurer and wife severely assaulted by ZANU PF

A group of four ZANU PF thugs broke into the home of an MDC-T official in Kadoma Wednesday night, brutally assaulting him and his wife before taking their money and escaping. But there is fear that the attack was political and not criminal, because the thugs wore ZANU PF bandanas and left valuable laptops and other goods in the house. The assault was on John and Jackie Kinnaird from Kadoma. He is the MDC-T Midlands North Treasurer.
Kerry Kay, an activist and member of the MDC-T executive, said one of the youths was armed with a metal rod that looked like a car spanner used to remove bolts from a car tyres. One of the youths continuously hit John over the head.Another youth took Jackie into the bedroom, where she violently tried to break free. Her arm was broken as a result.Kerry said John had an x-ray and scans of his head taken. Fortunately he did not suffer any internal injuries and was treated and sent home. But Jackie is still at the hospital, where she is scheduled to have an operation on her arm on Friday. Kerry said she has a compound fracture and the bone was sticking out of her arm.Kerry blasted the MDC-T for not doing enough to stem the tide of violence already grips Zimbabwe ahead of elections. She said the party is not being strong enough in responding to political violence from ZANU PF thugs.“There is no rule of law in the country and when there is no rule of law, nothing functions. We’ve got 31 people sitting in jail for the murder of a policeman. All the evidence given in court so far exonerates them 100 per cent. Yet they are still in jail 18 months later. They are prisoners of conscience, not criminals,” Kerry fumed. The activist warned that whenever Robert Mugabe speaks publicly of peace and non violence, the country can expect violence to flare up and intensify soon after that.

Stop the blood – Stop these dictators.

Stop the blood – Stop these dictators.

It is evident by Bashar – Al – Assad’s failure to hold his end of a cease fire / truce that like all dictators before him, he will stop a nothing.

Why does it have to take more than a year and counting before anything meaningful is done regarding Syria and regarding stopping this outright slaughter?

Dictators like Assad and Mugabe will stop at nothing.

The people of Syria have the right to normal life and this dictator like Mugabe, must be dealt with and taken out of office before he kills millions.

Stop Assad. Stop Mugabe. Stop dictators. Let love flow and democracy rule.

ZANU PF yet again warns of a blood bath

Zanu PF has warned there could be a bloodbath if Prime Minister

Morgan Tsvangirai wins next year’s Presidential elections.

In an interview with South African-based television channel e-News Channel

Africa, Zanu PF spokesperson Rugare Gumbo chillingly revealed how hardliners

would find it difficult to hand over the reins of power to Tsvangirai.

The Daily News also managed to exclusively view the whole hair-raising
interview.
"I can say it will be a mess. That is what I can tell you; it will be messy.
We will be asking for too much from our guys (the military) to accept these
people who we all know fought against them and were responsible for the
deaths of many of their comrades,” Gumbo said.
“They (hardliners) are human beings; they feel pained by the actions of the
opposition and also by the West. I have told people several times that look
we laughed at what happened in Libya and we laugh at what is happening in
Syria. These things can also happen here. There will be deaths. People could
be killed and maimed and so on,” he said.
Gumbo’s warning comes hard on the heels of a recent interview with the
British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) by Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa
in which he made veiled threats to Tsvangirai, insinuating the military
would stage a coup detat if he wins the next elections.
“He (Tsvangirai) cannot win. He has been campaigning and mobilising against
the interests of Zimbabweans on many issues, whether talking about land,
seeking to reverse the gains of the liberation struggle,” Chinamasa told BBC’s
Andrew Harding.

82 year old headman killed by Zanu PF

The late headman Rwisai Nyakauru pictured with Nyanga North MP Douglas Mwonzora

The gentleman on the lesft (Rwisai Nyakauru) had been incarcerated for 25 days, alongside Nyanga North MP and MDC-T spokesman Douglas Mwonzora and 23 others.

Nyakauru was arrested on the 14th of February at the Taziwa Hotel and brutally assaulted in one of the rooms. The war vets and Zanu PF militia “kicked him all over the body especially the chest area.”

“When we got to prison he was very sick and at one time collapsed vomiting blood. Prison officers would not take him to a civilian hospital.

Tsvangirai threatens to pull out of GNU

The Honerable Morgan Tsvangirai has threatened to pull out of the inclusive government if his party supporters continue to be victims of political violence.

Speaking in this weekend, the Premier said he would soon convene an emergency council meeting to decide whether or not to stay in the inclusive government.

Some districts are witnessing and increase of political violence

Last week the party’s ward chairman in Zaka, Nelson Bvudzijena, was injured when his house was petrol bombed. He was taken to the St Anthony’s Musiso hospital were the MDC leader paid him visit.

Tsvangirai also accused ZANU PF leader Robert Mugabe of being a hypocrite, who denounced violence by day and promoted it by night.

He told his supporters that his message to Mugabe is that they cannot pretend to be working together when violence is taking place, adding that he would confront Mugabe and tell him to ‘shape up or the MDC-T will ship out.’

He continued: ‘I am going to call an emergency council meeting to see if it is worth it to continue in the government of national unity. Shall we continue to turn a blind eye when my supporters are being tortured, when diamonds are being looted?’

Police sticking by Mugabe

THE Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has not arrested a single person involved

in three widely reported incidents of political violence in the past month,

targeting non ZANU-PF people; in what critics say gives credence to

assertions by the two formations of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)

that the force is biased in favour of President Robert Mugabe’s party.

Suspected ZANU-PF supporters have, in the past four weeks, been fingered in

the assault and harassment of supporters of the MDC parties in Mutoko,

Shangani and Masvingo.

Failure by the police to effect arrests particularly ahead of fresh

harmonised polls President Mugabe wants held in March 2013, about six months

away, has raised fears of a repeat of 2008 political violence, which led to

inconclusive presidential elections, resulting in the consummation of the

present inclusive government.

Congratulations to Mugabe. A new record set

Today, a country that was once the bread basket of Africa, a country that was so admired and respected is rated as the third poorest country in the world.

Robert Mugabe and his ZANU PF are a laughing stock and fools to think that the people of Zimbabwe still want them to lead.

Mugabe has shown us Zimbabweans, Africa and the world that he is more than a failure and now is the time that this old man must pack up and head to The Hague to go and spend the rest of his days with Charles Taylor before his permanent stay with Satan.

Even Ian smith and the UDI with sanctions had Rhodesia in 100 % better state that Mugabe ever has or ever will.

Robert Mugabe. Get gone.

Mugabe at the UN

Robert Mugabe the illegitimate leader of Zimbabwe will be in New York this week at the UN. For those that can make it, please show up and let's send Africa's Hitler a loud and clear message that we do not want him. His time is long up. Zimbabwe will be much better with out him and ZANU PF.

Congratulations to our President

Over the past two weeks Mugabe and ZANU PF have tried to hide the issues within Zimbabwe and focused on the Prime Ministers private affairs.

The issues are not should our legitimate President get married or not? Surprise, Surprise, a judge rules regarding President Morgan’s marriage yet thousands of cases are never looked at and innocent people fail to get bail hearings.

The real issue is simples. Mugabe has overstayed and needs to go.

Mugabe, you can try to silence the people of Zimbabwe but we in the Diaspora will not stop till you answer for your crimes and are removed from office.

To Pesident Morgan Richard Tsvangirai, congratulations and may God bless you and may your marriage be blessed and filled with joy and happiness.

Charlotte North Carolina

Just before the DNC we had the honor of been address by Zimbabwe’s official and soon to be President.

For those that may have changed their minds about President Morgan and think he is a sellout, think that he is a Mugabe puppet, believe me, you need to rethink and make sure you get onboard.

It is a great honor to support and get behind the MDC and our President. He is a man of vision, integrity and principles and a man that cannot be bought like the ZANU PF stooges we know and see.

To the MDC haters, get off the Titanic and come aboard.

Farms still been stolen

A Few weeks ago I met a guy from Africa and we got on the subject of Zimbabwe and he told me how happy he was that Mugabe was taking farms from the Whites.

I asked why you so happy. He went on and on.

I then asked him if you so mad at the whites, why you here in Atlanta and not in Africa.

It is amazing how black Africans are ignorant to the truth of Mugabe’s policies and how they have and continue to kill. Just this week Stanley Mhondoro, the reigning Chief Zvimba, has taken over Lion Kopje farm

in Mashonaland West Province after officials in Local Government, Rural and

Urban Development Minister Ignatius Chombo’s office withdrew the new farmers’

title to the farm.

The villagers were recently served with eviction notices by Zvimba District

Administrator identified as Tizora, who indicated that their removal was to

accommodate Mhondoro.

Perturbed by the eviction, the new farmers are now pinning hopes on the high

court which was petitioned last week with an order seeking to interdict

Chief Zvimba from chasing them away from occupying the farm.

SADC and UN, A JOKE

Months into the Syrian civil war and still no firm stand from the UN. Years into the Zimbabwean crisis and still not firm stand from SADC!

When does HUMAN RIGHTS come before friendships and Allies?

When do politician stop playing Politics and policies and lead from the heart?

How many more deaths need to happen before enough is enough?

We live in a day when man can go to the moon but a day when man talks, laughs and eats while his fellow man is been slaughtered.

Why the UN then?

Why SDAC?

Why?

MDC Zvimba West rally violently disrupted

Eight MDC members have been injured, two vehicles destroyed while two officials are detained at Murombedzi police station following a violent attack by Zanu PF thugs at Murombedzi growth point in Zvimba West.

Hon Tendai Biti, the MDC Secretary General was due to address the rally at midday in the district.

The provincial Vice Youth Chairperson, Maltin Mukusha, who was caught in the violent crossfire said, it was Zanu
PF’s tactic to disrupt the MDC meeting.
“When we got there in the morning, we found the Zanu PF youths already playing soccer in the council ground. We informed the police about this and they said we could still go ahead with our rally as scheduled, but they brought the netball courts and made a makeshift ground close to where we were. But we remained calm and continued to sing our songs. Out of nowhere, the rowdy youth began to throw sand in the air and stones began to rain on us. Our provincial vehicle was damaged and the district chairperson’s vehicle was not spared,”

The EU got it all wrong

The EU announcement made in Brussels to suspend restrictive measures on Zimbabwe is the wrong decision.
All sanctions against Mugabe should and must stick till he steps down and is sent to the Hague where he must answer for his rimes.

This ploy by Mugabe to send his prime minster on lavished trips the world over to remove sanctions is all in the interests of Mugabe and not for the people of Zimbabwe.

Torture camps continue to be used, activists continue to perish and Mugabe continues to enjoy the high life.

Mugabe must follow Charles Taylor and pay for his crimes.

Keep the sanctions on Zimbabwe

Ghana. A great example

Congratulations to the people of Ghana and the smooth transition of power to the newly sworn in President.
I hope the rest of Africa can watch and learn that it is not just about blood shed in order to get a president in.
Mugabe, watch and learn.

Why Why Why ?

Why the violence?
Why the bloodshed?
Why the hunger?
Why so much pain?
Why so much suffering?
Why dictators like Mugabe and Bashar Al-Assad?
Why a UN slow to act?
Why Politicians that only think of their pocket books?
What will it take for us to Live Out Love?

Pray for Syria

As the UN and other world leaders turn to sanctions and methods that have and will fail, let us pray and remember the people of Syria. Like the Mugabe regime, the Syrian regime has turned against it's citizens and Bashar Al Assad like mugabe is a leader gone wild who has tons of blood on his hand.

Syria, God will hear and answer our prays. Your days of freedom are coming

THANK YOU CANADA

Canada's announcement of withdrawing from the UN's tourism body over the ridiculous honor of a murderer and human rights violator named Robert Mugabe is a big relief and i hope and prat that other countries will follow this example and show the UN that they mean business.

Thank you Canada

The UN has proved they a big joke

How on earth can the UN recognise Robert Mugabe as an ambassador for tourism continues.
This is a slap in the face for us Zimbabweans who have been suffering for years under the dictatorship o Mugabe and ZANU PF. The UN should be pushing for the arrest and prosecution of Robert Mugabe and his ZANU PF instead of awarding him honors.
The UN needs to apologize to Zimbabweans and the world for this embarrassing mistake and should push for issues like Syria and Zimbabwe been free from their dictators who continuously slaughter citizens that should be enjoying freedom like hundreds of millions around the world.

I thought the UN had some sense and regard for humanity.

Charles Taylor slapped on the wrist

"The accused has been found responsible for aiding and abetting some of the most heinous crimes in human history," said Special Court for Sierra Leone Judge Richard Lussick said on Wednesday."The trial chamber unanimously sentences you to a single term of imprisonment for 50 years on all counts," the judge said as he announced the ruling of the court based at Leidschendam, just outside The Hague.

"The trial chamber noticed that the effects of these crimes on the families and society as a whole in Sierra Leone was devastating," Lussick said in handing down the ruling, the first sentence against a former head of state in an international court since the Nazi trials at Nuremberg in 1946.

My pray is that Robert Mugabe be next and 50 years is a slap on the wrist especially when ordinary citizens are put to death for a single murder.

32 years and ??

Today, 32 years ago, I remember the joy, the happiness, the screams, the shouting. Yes, INDEPENDENCE. Zimbabwe was free at last.
I was about 7 but the people around me told me that now we will have equal opportunities, we will freedom and our voices will be heard.
Well, I am sure Ian Smith is rolling over laughing shouting and screaming “happy now”
It is so sad that Robert Mugabe and ZANU PF have high jacked Zimbabwe and turned Zimbabwe into a basket case and laughing stock.
We the people of Zimbabwe are far from free and still fight for our independence. Mugabe and ZANU PF must be brought to justice for their crimes and we the people of Zimbabwe deserve our voices to be heard.
As long as Mugabe and ZANU PF are in control, Zimbabwe is a million years away from independence.
32 years into Zimbabwe and the order of the day is looting, death, destruction and torture.
My pray is as always JUSTICE FOR ZIMBABWE and ZANU PF TO PAY FOR THEIR CRIMES

Zimbabwean government may close

Ever hear of a so called government closing due to no money?
In Zimbabwe where all the ministers a filthy rich this is possible.
This is expected when you have thugs running the show. How i miss Rhodesia and the rule of Ian Smith.

Bring on the elections and send ZANU PF the Hague.

Old man just sh and go

At 88, it is time that Mugabe shuts his mouth and gracefully goes.

Your time is up old man, you have proved over 15 years ago that you are an inadequate and ineffective leader.

88 today and i can give you 88 good reasons why you have long overstayed your welcome.

Why is no action been taken against the dictator in Zimbabwe?

STOP THE BLOOD SHED.

Happy Birthday ANC

To the men and women of the ANC, happy birthday.
I hope Zuma will now look north to his neighbor Zimbabwe and urge his friend Mugabe who is almost as old as the ANC to step down and let Zimbabwe and Africa start moving forward.

Africa we can do it.

Happy New Year

Today is 2012.
As I look back on 2011 I will always remember it as the year of the fall of the dictators.
We still have more to fall but we have hope.
Have a happy new year and may this be the year hat Mugabe and ZANU PF are no more
